Do I have to show all 4 nutrition categories?
No, you can choose to have 1-4 nutrients printed on the receipt. For example, if you only want to show calories to start, that's as easy as clicking a button in the administration module. You can also decide which caterories you choose to display, and are not limited by the ones shown in our examples.

Can I choose to not print nutrition information at all, but use the receipt for other capabilities?
Yes, you can choose to suppress the nutrition grid altogether (click here for sample). Will the Nutricate System affect my current operations?
The Nutricate System works independently of your Point of Sales (POS) system, so it doesn't affect your current operations. The Nutricate software simply reformats the receipt with the personalized nutrition information of your customer's order. It then adds other information that you specify and prints the receipt to your regular printer.

Yes, as an agnostic solution (see above) we can work with each of your different POS systems. Additionally, via our reporting system, Nutricate can aggregate data across all of your sites and different POS systems.

How does the Nutricate System work?
The system consists of a Nutricate Receipt Interceptor Computer (RIC) that is designed to conveniently fit under your existing POS thermal printer. The RIC contains all information necessary for printing of Nutricate receipts, including nutritional information of your menu items and all associated messaging. This information can be updated by you at any time through a simple web page.

When an order is entered into the POS system, the RIC receives the information, appends nutritional information and messaging to the order, reformats the information to make it visually appealing to your customers, and passes it on to the POS printer.

How does the % Daily Value work? Why is there %DV for 2,000 and 2,500 calorie diets?
The % Daily Value is a nutrition guideline established by the FDA to help you understand the quantity of nutrients you should consume each day. The 2,000 and 2,500 calorie diets are the recommended amounts for the average woman and man, respectively. Again, these are guidelines because many factors affect your ideal, individual caloric intake, such as height, weight, age, exercise and overall health.
